Painful nipple in left side. Heart attack history of family. Help?

I get slight pains above my left nipple on occasion. When it behind to hurt I can grab the area and the pain is soothed. What could it possibly be?
I'm 21, 5' 10" and 140 lbs. I'm getting a little scared seeing as my dad passed from a heart attack last year and my mom is now a chemo patient. I recently quit smoking and began taking vitamins

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Nipple pain brought on or relieved by touching has nothing to do with heart.
You have not stated your personal habits, family history or co-morbidities, even age, gender...which could have an influence on the diagnosis and outcome...
EKG is the first step to address the concern / If you have real concern and the family history is bad - get your risk factors estimated... / go for life style changes... / see your doctor

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
