Painful lumps under skin when walking. Cause?

I have these lumps under my skin, at the lower part of my back, at first, I didn t really notice them... But a few days have past, and it seems to be causing pain while I walk, but only on the top of my thighs... It feels as though someone is stretching the muscles outward with every step. What do you think is the cause of this? Is there anything I can do to fix this? And, what do you suggest I do?
