Welcome to Healthcare Magic.

I appreciate your efforts for medical consultation in so much distress.
Well, if it’s a painful lump then u need to answer few questions, whether there is fever or not, pain on touchin g etc…only then nature of the problem can be ascertained……..

Wish you good health.

General & Family Physician Dr. Veera Raghava Rao Buddha.'s  Response
Hi welcome to Health care magic forum. It might not be a lump, it migt be a gland due to throat infection, tooth infection, head lice, or any scratch of the skin of head. though not sure the pain in the school may be a temporary pain due to some irritation like biting some hard food.
i advise you to consult a pediatrition for diagnosis and treatment. after examining the mouth, teeth, scalp, ears etc and decide the diagnosis.
besides i advise you to follow some diet recommendations for him as give him more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, milk, egg, meat, bone soups, sea foods, fruits juices and dry fruits to improve the blood and resistance to combat such infections.Wishing him a quick recovery, and thanks for calling.
