Painful Lump In Crack Of Buttocks After Period, Yellowish Brown Discharge. Remedies To Heal It?
Hi docter. I have a painful lump in the crack of my buttocks which started shortly after i had my period, i have had it for about a week now. There appears to be a smelly yellowish-brown discharge coming from that area, i have been taking brufane to ease the pain otherwise its very hard to sit or lie down comfortably. Is it something that will go away eventually or i should seek further remedies?
It appears that you have developed a disease called as Pilo Nidal Sinus.
This sinus is developed in the inter gluteal region as hairs of that area scratch and make the area raw. finally this raw area gets infected and that is the beginning of the sinus.
It requires proper cleaning and dressing regularly along with relevant antibiotic.
If this does not heal conservatively. then finally surgeon takes care of that place.
So please it requires proper consultation.
Hope your query is answered
Thanks
