Pain while sitting long hours or trying standing up, on applying brake while driving. Why?

i experience a lot of pain when i sit down for a long time or when i try to stand up. The main seems to occur depending on which side of my bottom i am putting pressure on, for example, if I lean more to the right it seems to hurt more than if i lean to the left. i find when i drive when i try to brake it hurts. What can i do?
