Pain Under Shoulder Blade And Rib Cage, Worsens After Eating. Green Stools. Do I Need To Go To The Doctor?

I have been suffering from pain under my left shoulder blade and rib cage for a week now. The pain gets worse based on if I eat and what I eat. The worst was when I ate black beans. That night I had difficulty sleeping because the pain was too great. My bowel movements have become irregular and stools a dark green. Pepto Bismol and antacids don t work. Do I need to go to the doctor?

hello.you have not mentioned your age and any other comorbid illnesses if you have.the common possibilities are you have esophagitis or severe gastritis which is related to your dietary habbits.

if the pain is too severe along with other symptoms like sweating breathlessness you need to get yourself evaluated by the physician as early as possible.

you also have indigestion but it may not always corelate with your chest pain.

show it to a physician, examination and investigation if required wil definitely solve your problem.

all the best.
