Pain, Numbness In Left Arm, Sweating, Breathlessness. Due To Exercising Or Heart Condition?
Hi I am 24 years old and I weigh 125 kgs...for the past three days I have been experiencing left arm pain and numbness, the numbness is mostly located in my pinky and ring finger . I have also been feeling sweaty and out of breath. I am not sure if this is because I was freaking myself out about my arm or if something is going on with me heart . I have been exercising for a while and a the days before this occurred and I have sore muscles in other parts of my boy as well.
Hi,
Welcome to HCM
You have not mentioned your height but it seems that you are overweight and started exercising recently.
If you have pain in left arm it may not be cardiac but still it is prudent to check it with a ECG 12 Lead and if it is normal get other medical test befor you take up weightloss programme.
A complete check up with BP and other system alog with investigations :
Complete Blood Count, FBS & PPBS,
Serum Creatinine,Lipid Profile, X ray of cervical spine and MRI(SOS)
T3,T4 & TSH, A X ray chest, 2 D Echocardiography, and TMT( Tread Mill Test)
If every thig is fine and you can take care of diet and exercies you will certainly able to lose weight .
Take care
Best of Luck.
