Pain Inside And Around Belly Button, Redness Below Belly Button, Pain On Touching, No Pain On Doing Push Ups, Weight Lifting. What Can It Be?

hi i have a belly button problem. it hurts around and inside of my belly button, its red below my belly button on my stomach it hurts when touched. also it hurts when i sit up not because of straining so i don t believe its a hernia because i can do push ups and lift wieghts with out a problem. does anyone have an answer?

Hello.Thanks for the question.In view of symptoms possible cause can be local skin infection.Sometimes sinus tract may form at the site of umbilicus.A clinical evaluation can help to determine the cause.I think you should get your doctor to have look at it.Regards.
