Pain In Toe, Burning Sensation In Joint. Pain Relieving After Removing Shoes. Underlying Cause?
What would cause my toe (the one next to my little toe) to hurt? After being on my feet for approx. 4 hours, I need to remove my shoe. Toe has an increasing burning sensation at the first joint. The pain becomes intolerable. It doesn't hurt when you touch it or squeeze it. It isn't swollen. it doesn't hurt at night. The pain is relieved after removing my shoe. It doesn't matter if its my workboots or tennis shoes. My workboots have plenty of toe room.

Hi,
This may be due to musculoskeletal or reduced blood supply. Wear shoes with soft soles, with plenty of room space and also keep moving fingers inside shoes when you work for long hours. Keep changing shoes every 6 months and monitor your blood sugar levels regularly. Trim nails and wash fingers and inter finger space regularly. NSAID like Ibuprofen and local analgesic spray will help you.
Regards
