Pain In Thoracic Area, Itchy Lump Beside Spine. Have Scoliosis And Lower Back Pain. Is This From Coughing?

I have pain in the thoracic area of my back and a lump beside my spine on right side. The pain radiates to my right rib cage and my ribs are very sore to to the touch. This lump also itches like crazy. I do have scoliosis and have a lot of low back pain . I have been sick for several weeks with a cold , could this be from a strain from coughing?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
From your history it seems that you might have Infected Sebaceous Cyst.
As you are having scoliosis chances of having Cold abscess should be ruled out.
Consult orthopedic surgeon and get examined.
Ok and bye.
