General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi
In some patients, the vein will get inflammed and infected due to Cannula. It is called thrombophlebitis.
Please take oral antibiotic like Clindamycin and anti inflammatory drug.
Apply topical Thrombophobe ointment.
Nothing to worry.
It will be subsided.
Wish you good health
Regards
