Neurologist 's  Response
Hello,
With this limited details, a possibility of tumor is strong. However many other things can have a similar appearance on MRI like infections etc. She will probably need MRI scan for clarification of the diagnosis. Other associated symptoms and blood tests also have to be considered to make a diagnosis. You should consult a neurlogist/ neurosurgeon for further guidance about the next investigations.
good luck.

General & Family Physician Dr. Raju A.T's  Response
Hi,

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

The description you provided does not fit into a tumour , but it could be a infective or an inflammatory focus.

An MRI scan could help one to ascertain the exact cause of such a lesion in the brain.

Hope I answered your query.

Wish you good health.
