Pain In The Lower Rib Cage, Epigastric Pain And Tenderness. Abdominal CT Scan, MRI Normal. Kidney Stones Detected. Tried Gabapentin, Steroids And Omeprazole. Could This Be Hernia Or Endometriosis?

I am 35 year old female. been having lower left rib cage pain, tenderness and epigastric pains for almost a year now. have had bone scan, CT of abdomen , MRI of chest and spine , abdominal ultrasound-all negative for any abnormalities with the exception of kidney stones (in the kidneys). I have been tried on gabapentin , steroid pack, naproxen , omeprazole ...no relief. it hurts to lay on either side. I have also noticed that it gets worse for about a week before menstruation and with ovulation . Any ideas? Hernia? endometriosis of the diaphragm? GI issue?

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for calling H.C.M.Forum.
You have got pain in the upper left side of abdomen, since 1 year. tests revealed stones in the kidneys.I want to be clear whether you have used O.T.C.products, or with the prescription. Because the medicines you have used are not relavent.
I advise you to consult an urologist for diagnosis and treatment.
After relief of pain if the size of the stone is smaller you can use medicines for desolving the stone and expulsion.
If the size is larger the urologist will blast the stone from out side with out incision. The products of the blast will come out with the urine immediately.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery.
Best regards.
