Pain in the lower back and abdomen in pregnancy. Pressure in the pelvic area with discharge. Should be concerned?

im 22 weeks pregnant and have lower back and abdominal pains daily along with pressure in my pelvic and a more frequent discharge , that I find uncomfortable at times. what should I do? I m worried about pre term labor because my brother and I were both premature. I work 5 days a week on my feet all day for 8-11 hours a day, is this a problem?

Your working pattern is definitely going to stress you more than needed. At this stage, you should be getting a rest of 7-8 hours in the night and around 2 hours in the day. Working standing on your feet for so long is definitely not advisable. The pains you are experiencing are due to the stretching effect on the abdominal muscles and ligaments owing to the enlarging uterus. Pelvic pressure indicates congestion of the pelvis and this is not so good at this moment. See your doctor for an examination and take proper guidance and see that you get enough rest preferably in the left lateral position. Good luck.
