Pain In The Knee After Falling Down, Radiating To Ankle, Numbness, Having Osteoarthritis. Suggestions?

I am 56 yr. old female. I fell on my knee onto a hard floor almost 2 wks ago. It is numb to the touch but very painful to deep pressure. Pain radiates down my shin to ankle. It has fluid on it but no bruising noted. My email address is YYYY@YYYY . Also I have advanced osteoarthritis in both knees with the knee I did not fall on, being the worse with arthritis.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The presence of fluid inside the knee joint after the fall is likely to be due to an internal bleeding. This blood needs to be aspirated and an MRI scan is needed to detect the extent of injury you have suffered.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
