my daughter and i have been experiencing ... nausia pain in the kidney area, fatigue , extreme tiredness, light headed, dizziness ... my daughter even fainted... she and i have the same symtoms for about a month...and getting worse. i think it might have something to do with bad water, we live in maui and maui county has had problems with water before...what would cause us both to have these symtoms?

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thank you for your query. Sorry for the delay in replying.

The symptoms that you describe are very unlikely to be due to bad water. The first symtoms that you get due to bad water is vomiting and diarrhoea. In case you have been having diarrhoea and vomiting then the fatigue, tiredness, dizziness can be explained.

If the area is hot and humid then you may be sweating a lot which can give rise to all the symptoms that you have enumerated.

I hope I have responded to your query to your satisfaction.

Regards,

RKK
