Pain In The Groin Around The Top Pf Genitalia, Sore To Touch After Excessive Biking. Worrisome?

Hello Doctor I am 26 years old male student from Sweden. I am 172 cm height and 60 Kg weight. Since yesterday i started to feel pain in left side of my groin really close to top of my genitalia. it won t hurt unless i touch it. I haven t had any hard sport activity lately. but i do bike a lot. yesterday I biked alittle bit harder than usual for around 10 minutes. Should I be worry about it?

Did you have such pains in the past also? A pain in groin and at tip of penis can be a referred pain from ureteric stone and may be associated with a few drops of blood discharge when it is called a strangury.
Urine routine examination shows red blood cell in it and ultrasound abdomen is the investigation of choice.
The serious things need to be ruled out first. As such, such a pain might be due to a constant posture while riding bike which results in muscular strain and the pain is self limiting.
You can get OTC ibuprofen for pain relief.
