Pain in the chest, rib cage and lungs. Reason?

my whole life i ve always gotten these random sharp pains that come and go in my chest right im my rib cage and around my back mainly my lungs though. it feels like someone is sticking a trillion needles into my lungs and it hurts really bad to breathe. it has put me in tears but my doctor says i m healthy. i just turned 17 this has been happening since i was about 4. is there something seriously wrong with me? please any advice would help. thank you

chest pain composes a wide spectrum of diseases depending upon side,duration,type etc.
common causes of chronic chest pain are angina,costochondritis,post herpetic nuralgia(usualy in aged),stress and some psychiatric causes.
pain for 13yrs begining in childhood is realy painful.
you need not worry.
you should undergo some investigatios like ecg,chest xray.
i think it will be a managable one.
please consult a doctor expert in medicine/doc dealing adolescent problems.
