Pain In The Back And Stomach. Taking Metformin For Diabetes. Any Advice?
I am experiencing pain on the right side of my back, not quite in the lower back. I have had this pain for quite a while. Now it seems the left side is starting to hurt a little also. I also have been experiencing what seems to be gas pains in my stomach. I'm not quite sure how to explain the stomach pains, but it seems like gas is trapped somewhere and can't get out. There is also a slightly painful movement in my stomach. This stomach issue has been going on for the past 3 days or so. I am diabetic and I take metformin.

you could have mentioned the dosages of metformin you are taking.
some of the symptoms can be due to exessive dosages of metformin ...
but you should also get USG abdomen done for any abnormalities....
you should consult your doctor and get medicines changed to rule out metformin effect...
