Pain in pelvic area, spotting in early mornings in the mid of cycle. Could stress be causing this?

Hi I am 36 years old, I had my periods 10 days back. For last few days I have pain in pelvic area and since today In early morning I am bleeding a little. It normally never happens to me. I did some internet search and saw stress as one of reasons. Can this be one of the reasons as last week I cried a lot as my boyfriend decided to back out of the marriage thing.

Hello there,
You are quite right that the mental status plays an important role in all disease as well as in this situation also.See I"ll tell you about menses in ayurvedic point of view.
Basically the blood which comes out for 3 days as period is called "artava".This artava=rasa (lymph)dhatu. This rasa dhatu is manufactured at grahani=umbilical area during digestion. Now this grahani gives support to majjadharacala (bone marrow) and also to mental feelings. Now when a woman is under +ve/-ve mental condition this rasadhatu is also affected metabolically in +ve/-ve form respectively. This also gives cumulative effects on the menstrual period quality and quantitatively. Your problem is pathogened in this way. Get the proper ayurvedic medicine after checking of nadi (pulse). Have a good health ahead.
