Pain In Lower Back, Heard A Loud Noise, Severe Pain, No Apparent Bruise. Cure?

Hi, i sneezed this morning and my lower right back started to hurt very badly. It felt like something got injured on the inside of my body. I heard a loud noise from my lower right back, i checked to see if there was a bruise there but there was not any sign of one. I have very severe pain and I m thinking of going to a hospital if i do not get better. Anything you can help me with doctor?

Allergist and Immunologist 's  Response
Hello,
You have developed a bad sprain following the sneeze that happens due to sudden increase of intraabdominal pressure and that extends to soft tissues.
You need to take a non-steroidal antiinflammatory with a spasm relief medication, something with Aceclo-MR or paracetamol with chlorzoxazone to lower the spasm.
Take this after food maximum twice a day for 3- 4 days.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.

Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr. Dr. Praveen Tayal's  Response
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
After sneezing, the pain in the back could be due to a muscle sprain caused by the sudden jerk. Most of the tom es the pain subsides on doing a hot fomentation and applying a local analgesic gel over the affected area.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
