Pain In Left Side Of Waist Above Hip. Applying Pressure Causes Numbness In Brain. Can Smell Urine, Ammonia. Internal Injury?

I have had pain in the left side of my abdominal area near the waist but several inches above the hip.
Applying pressure to relieve the pain causes chills and temporary relief but causes a numbness in
my brain suddenly. The sensation is accompanied by mild headache type pain and is brief. I also
smell a combination of urine and ammonia. The numbness is sensed close to the center of my brain
gradually fades as the fragrance does. My side, Brain, and sinus are affected during this cycle.
Do I have a common problem or internal injury. What should I do?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
You have got pain in the left lumbar area. The cause may be due to the urinary tract infection, or a stone in the ureter. It may cause the dribbling of urine , and the smell of urine or ammonia.
The smell also can be due to the infection in the nose.
The renal colic will be associated with the fever, so may be associated with the head ache.
You may need to have an M.R.I. for diagnosis. So i advise you to consult a urologist for diagnosis and treatment.
Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
