Pain In Heart, Trouble Sleeping On Eating High Content Food, Tests Showed High BP, Normal Heart And Blood Test Results. Cause?

I m 18 and when I was about 16 I started to get some kind of physical pain in my heart . I went to the doctor after I started to feel weird, flushes, light headed. I got a test on my heart, they got one of those machines they use on pregnant women to look at their unborn baby. Results said my heart was fine. Blood results all came back normal. And My blood pressure was pretty high. I have trouble sleeping at night (heart pains) only when i eat foods high in fat or when I eat a lot of junk food, pizza, burgers, etc. Help!

Hi
The blood pressure should NOT be high - You have to follow it up and need treatment.
Considering you are young, you need extensive investigations to find a cause - a treatable cause in particular - the chances of finding one may not be high, bit it is worth it.
A normal ECHOcardiogram (one of those machine) and blood test is reassuring.
What was the ECG finding? Did they do one after exercise or 24-hour monitoring?
Atypical pain and relation to food suggest stomach and/or food pipe - an upper GI Endoscopy (a small tube put through the mouth to see the stomach) can shed some light.
Avoid fatty or junk food - even if they are not causing anything obvious at the moment, in the long run, they rise the cholesterol and block the blood vessels.
Follow up with your Internist or Cardiologist
Good luck
