Pain In Arm, Sweating, Jerking Movements At Night, Erectile Dysfunction. Normal BP. Treatment?

Hi, my fiancée is experiencing arm pain right now and describes it as like plenty of ants on his arm and back. No fever. But I noticed he wakes up at night to drink H20 and sweats a lot too at night and even at daytime(His blood sugar is normal. . Also he has Erectile dysfunction and experiences jerking movements especially at night time which he can't control. He Has HTN but otherwise healthy.

Hello dear,

Since you have mentioned in your post that your fiancee has Hypertension, so the symptoms can be attributed to Hypertensive neuropathy.
Symptomatic improvement will can be obtained with nervigenic agents like Vit B6, Vit B12 & Folic acid.
Also anti hypertensive medications, diet & lifestyle modifications need to be done to keep the blood pressure within normal range.
So, kindly consult your Physician & get a complete clinical examination done including nerve conduction studies.
Till then, make sure he maintains adequate hydration & nutrition status and avoids stress.
