Pain, Fibroid Leaning On Bladder. CT Shows Growth Of Fibroid, Advised Uterus Removal. Surgery Required ?
Yes I was told I have two fibroids leaning on my bladder as big as an orange. I had them sunk but once and then again where my bladder was because the fibroid was not sinking. I felt ok for a while and then started getting pain. My family doctor sent me for a CT and found out they are growing. She told me I have to get my uterus out. I have not insurance and I am waiting for my cobra . I have good insurance and I am trying to get it as fast as I can. Do you think I can wait a month for this surgery? I would like to get the robotic surgery who do you recommend , I live in Philadelphia Pa
The only reason why the surgery is advised at the earliest is so we can avoid complications and prevent the patient from having to suffer from the symptoms. A delay of 30 days would only mean you have to go through those days with the symptoms of pain, difficulty urinating and so on.
So please do arrange for the insurance at the earliest, and yes, robotic surgery would be a good option.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes.
