Pain during menstruation / periods is common.
It may be abdominal pain, pain in the breasts, lower back ache etc

Slight pain is common in everyone. But if it is increasing more and more then it is termed as Dysmenorrhoea.

Start exercising. My wife had the same issues and now with good physical activity it has come down.

It is called dysmenorrhea. There can be many reasons for them. You will need evaluation and treatment.
