Pain During Periods. Taken Antibiotics For Hemorrhagic Ovarian Cyst. Reason For Pain?
Hi..Im 27 yrs n i got married in sep 2013. After wedding i got two periods both were delayed by exactly a week. Like my cycle is of 40 days now...On first day of my period after 4 to 5 hours i get very severe pain which is intolerable n i have never experienced it before marriage. This pain lasts for around 3 hours.
Last year June 2012 i was diagnosed with a hemorragic cyst in my left ovary.i jus took antibiotics to prevent infection. later in September 2012 wen i took my scan it was normal n my doctor said that the cyst is dissolved. I was completely fine from one year n now after marriage im suffering from dysmenhorrea.. can u pls suggest me y is this post marriage pain n whether the pain is linked with my old cyst..
If the cyst dissolved on repeat scan, pain is unlikely because of cyst. There might be other causes of pain like intake of emergency contraceptive pills or low dose contraceptive pills. This can cause hormonal imbalance leading to irregular periods and pains. Also the possibility of any genital infection must be excluded.
hope this helps
