Pain During Intercourse With Light Pink Discharge After Being On Mirena IUD. Is This Concerning?

I have the Mirena IUD. For the past month, sex has been very painful & the pain lasts for about 2 days. The IUD stopped my periods, I havent had one in over a year, but when I wiped the other day, the toilet paper had pink coloration on it. Is this something I should be worried about? I dont know if my Mirena is causing it...what should I do?

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day
Pain during sexual intercourse and intermittent bleeding are valid enough symptoms for consideration of removal of IUD as likely it's associated with inflammation.
I would suggest you to consult your Gynecologist, who will examine you and discuss with him for removal of IUD and alternative method for family planning.

Wishing you a great and healthy life

Take care
