Pain During Cough And Sneezing. Remedy?
I was in a truck rollover recently, and got banged up pretty good, no serious injuries and thank our lord no one was hurt badly. I was very sore in the middle left side of my back, and the soreness has been better, except for when I cough or sneeze and the pain is terrible,almost to the point of blackout. It takes five to ten minutes for me to stand up, deep breathes seem to help me, but I don't understand why this happens. I had xrays and the doc says that all is good, I know that all is not good, could you give me advice as to why this is happening? It has been like this for naerly a month now and does not seem to be getting better. the area where this occurs has been very tender since the day of injury. thanks for your help Kirk

As per your symptoms it suggest there is rib injury to your back and chest so on sudden movement it leads to pain.
I will advise to take analgesic like diclogesic sp and take rest.
Rib/chest belt will give you support to chest and back.
You can take cough syrup to avoid pain while coughing,as it may take 3 weeks to heal.
