Pain behind left leg, remains throughout the day, pressure on muscles, discomfort. Treatment?

Hi I have a pain down the back of my left upper leg I starts when I first do any walking and will remain throughout the day. I spend most of my working day sat down during this time it feels as though my leg is pressing on the muscle and is uncomfortable. I first noticed the pain whilst walking approx 2 miles of mostly level and down hill travel.

Pain in the lower limb can be due to many causes.It may be infective,traumatic,Vascualr etc.
As per your history,it may be vascular.Please consult your doctor and get Colour doppler of the Left lower limb to rule out Arterial disease like TAO(Thrombo Angitis Obliterans),venous disease like varicose veins.
If you are a smoker,please stop Smoking completely.
Please change your position or move your legs regularly during office hours.
Another possibility is Musculo skeletal pain,which will be relieved with Muscle relaxants.
But,Please consult your doctor and get it checked.
