Pain And Swelling Of Toes Due To High Uric Acid

i am suffering from pain in my big toe & slight swelling.my uric acid level is 7.6. Doctor prescibed FEBUGET 40 daily once for 2 weeks. pls advise

uric acid can be lowered by decreasing protein intake ,along with drugs to reduce uric acid level.
There are other medications also to reduce uric acid level.Actually complete investigation is required.In my opinion if there are no major complications then we should go for first line drugs initially.
