Pain And Swelling In The Shin Due To An Injury. Bruise Not Going Away. Why?
Last summer I got butted by my small ram sheep. He ran at my shin from about 20ft away and butted me, I immediately had a goose egg swelling on front of my shin and it was agony. The swelling has not gone after all this time and yesterday I had a minor trip and now have a huge bruise at same spot. Am ID diabetic and now have some nerve pain in my foot. Should i see my doc

The persistent swelling in the area of the bruise may be related to a fibrosis in the area which will resolve on its own. The nerve pain and the recurrent bruise needs to be examined by a physician for proper management.
