Pain And Swelling In The Scrotum. Diagnosed With Epididymitis. Symptoms Coming Back On Stopping The Medication

1 mnth ago i was diagnosed with epididymitis ( age-23 , no sexual histry ) it was in left side of scrotm , urologist prescribd me with zenfloxin(ofloxacin & ornidazole tablet 30 mg) and serratiopeptidase & nimesullide tablets for ten days ( 2 times a day ) condition was improved but on 7 or 8 th day (still on medication ) i had pain in my right side of scrotum ...little swelling was also there ....after 3-4 day it vanished but little bit of swelling is there in epididymitis of right side .....left side also has little pea shaped swelling is there on epididymitis . i hav dn with culture nd routine test of urine and no presence of any bacterial growth or something. still there is discomfort in scrotum and mild pain comes back in every 6-7 days and m not taking any medicine now .....for 20 days or so ....i want to ask how to get rid of this little bit of swelling which is there .....

hello..
i can understand your problem and pain you have been through..
i would recommend you to get an ultrasound of the scrotum done.
could be a cyst which may need a surgical removal if it dosent get better with medications.
ahter your ultrasound reports i would further let u know about the treatment plan till then you can try tab. levoflox 500 mg od for five days & tab chymocad 1 tab bd for 5 days. thanks..
