Pain And Blood During Urination, Bloating. Taking Pills To Control Urination. Scheduled For Surgery In Vagina. Suggestions?
I have pain when I pee and I am very bloated. There is also blood when I urinate. I have a lot of sensation to pee all through out the day very often but I only urinate very little. I have gone to the doctor but they only give me pills to control my urination. Should I go to the ER for assistance? Should I see another doctor. I am getting surgery in my vagina because my bladder is sinking in to my vagina and they need to stitch it up. What should I do or what do you suggest?
Hello Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have acute UTI esspecially Cystitis .
Please get your routine urine test and urine culture done to find out the organisms causing this infection and antibiotics to which they are sensitive to.
Please take broad spectrum antibiotics along with urinary antiseptic like Nitrofurantoin twice daily and urine alkaliser thrice daily.and later on switch on to appropriate antibiotics as per culture report.
Get the prescription of medicines from your family Physician.
Ensure to drink more water. To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
