Pain After Sex, Inflammation In Penis After Reaction To Sulphur
2 years back my husband said he had a reaction from sulphur and as a result caused inflammation of penis he was asked to apply neosporen for relief....also he has pain after sex and is left uncomfortable for 1-2 hours....what could have caused the inflammation.....could he be taking some pills...or could he be having partial impotency..
Hello Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that your husband gets pain in his penis after sex.
Most likely this could be due to inflammation of Urethra(Urethritis) secondary to allergic reaction to sulphur ( Does he work in sulphur industry).or Prostatitis.
Please consult qualified Urologist for clinical evaluation and get following investigations done under his guidance to rule out out Urethritis or Prostatitis. 1) Urine routine and urine culture 2) Retrograde Urethrogram
He may do endoscopic examination of urethra, ,
Further treatment will depend upon the final diagnosis. Dr.Patil.
