Pain After Falling Down. Taking Prednisone, Vicodan, No Improvement. Normal X Rays. Recommendations?
I fell while on my morning walk last Wednesday...landed on the area beteween my breasts and my waist.
Pain more focused on the right hand side. Had x-rays. Nothing broken. They gave me Prednisone for inflammation, and Vicodan for pain. It's pretty painful still. Hurts to raise myself up from a laying position at night.

It is soft tissue inflammation and takes, little long time to subside the pain, I think the the steroid is not the right choice for inflammation Non steroid anti-inflammatory drug would give nice result, so stop taking the Prednisone, Have nice day
