Pain After Curing Herpes Infection
hello there, i had a herpes infection and its been treated 4 months before but there is still little pain on my head.....can u plz tell me why is it so and for how long it will remain the same?

You have NOT specified whether your problem was herpes simplex or zoster? Well these two are different diseases, & after an attack of herpes zoster, you may feel paresthesias or pain known as postherpetic neuralgia (PHN). Postherpetic neuralgia is a difficult condition to treat but a variety of medications like antidepressants (TCAs, SSRIs), anticonvulsants (valproic acid, gabapentin), capsacin cream etc. have been used for treatment. Please consult your doctor for proper diagnosis & prescription. Good luck.
