Overweight, joined dance class, feel like gained weight. How to lose extra fat?

I m 168 cm and I weight 63kg.My doctor says I am a bit overweight and the average for my age(16) should be around 58 kg.I look at myself in the mirror and I feel fat so I ve been going dancing every week to lose weight but I feel like I gain weight instead of losing weight.I don t know what to do?Help me find a way to lose muscles and fat pls!!!???

hello... first of all its not the dance that makes you put on weight..its may be your eating pattern... also you don't have to lose muscle .. you have to lose fat %..all you need to do is go for brisk walks/jog daily for 45 mins.. eat small meals every 2-3 hours.. have oats/ muesli with milk for breakfast, fruits and nuts for mid morning snacks.. salads with lunch and dinner.... sprouts/ egg whites as evening snacks..avoid fried, sweets and junk foods.. drink plenty of water.. keep your dinner light like soups, salads and veggies/ grilled non veg.. rest well..
