Dear barsenet, welcome to healthcare magic.
If you are obese, have excessive hair growth in your body, and serum LH > FSH, together with an ultrasound picture of polycystic ovaries, so you have polycystic ovary syndrome.
This syndrome doesn't prevent pregnancy but it only delays it or makes it difficult by the normal marital life.
It has short term (irregular cycles, acne, hirsutism and delayed pregnancy) and long term (impaired glucose tolerance, obesity, high blood pressure and liability for endometrial cancer if not treated) consequences.
My first advice is to loose weight and optimize your Body mass index as this sole advice may completely cure your problem and you can have the problem of exessive hair growth completely solved. Also you can have regular cycles and acheive normal pregnancy if you are married.
As a treatment for your excessive hair growth I advise you to start taking combined oral contraceptive pills if not contraindicated (as your doctor will decide). You will notice gradual improvement of excessive hair growth after 6 months of regular intake, not before so be patient and do not give up.
Mechanical methods of hair removal ( laser or chemical epilation) may be of help.
I hope this piece of information is useful to you and I wish you the best of luck.
Dr. Ahmed Bahaa.
