Ovary Removed During Ectopic Pregnancy, Had Tubal Ligation. Have Pregnancy Symptoms. Will It Affect Pregnancy ?
hi I have a big concern I had an ectopic pregnancy in year 2000 and had my left tube and ovary removed. when I had my last baby I had tubal liagation and I have been having pregnancy symptoms I don't know if it's my head playing games because I'm with a person that I wished I had his child and he has a low sperm count and is nausiated what can I expect?
Hi, In the current scenario, you should get a home pregnancy test with a fresh early morning sample of urine if you have missed a period by 3-7 days or go for the serum beta-hCG assay to have a definite evidence. Tubal ligation has a very small failure rate and this has been shown to rise as the time interval from the surgery increases. If you happen to have conceived, you should be watchful about the possibility of another ectopic pregnancy in view of the past history as well as tubal ligation. Hope your query has been answered. Take care.
