Ovaries Attached To Bowels, TLH, Endometriosis. Suggest?
I am one week post op for a TLH, leaving both ovaries. My doctor just told me that my left ovary is attached to my bowels and she recommends seeing a Colorectal surgeon, ad she couldn t remove the ovary( endometriosis ) from the bowel. I m concerned about additional surgery and seeing a colorectal surgeon instead of a gyn. Is this really the bet person for the job?
Hi, some times there will be adhesions between the organs, congentally. The doctor left the ovary means that it is to be removed, It is better to have that ovary, for maintenance of the oestrogen harmone for better maintenance of the body. If you get the ovary removed, you have to use hthe harmones separately. Thank you.
