Other Than Breast Milk Why My Baby Is Not Taking Any Supplementary Food ?

my daughter is 8month old .she is not taking any supplementary food other than breast milk .What should I do?

thanks for choosing health care magic.You are right in starting supplementary foods after 6 months.See usually in initial days you will fine some resistance but with time things fall in place.See the basic rule should go slow and add new things at a time,keep it for some day,build the volume and then introduce anything new after the first one get accepted.Try couple of times a day before feed.Do not give very blend liquids everybody needs a test.So gradually add many things.Prefer home based foods instead of formula feeds unless in some special situations.

Exclusive breast feeding is necesarry for devlopment and growth of child. Breast milk increase immunity, as your child need supplimentary food at the age of 8month, dont hesitate for breast milk along with some additional suppliments
single ingredient foods be chosen and has begun to allow for a certain time every two weeks to identify food intolerances.
• New semi-solid foods should be given before breastfeeding, as may be after the meal, the child is taking other unknown aversion to food.
• Foods should be very soft and easy to swallow and must notIrritable digestive tract.
• increased by a small dose (5-10ml), then you meet, the dose to a breast-feeding.
