I will try my best to answer your query.

The symptoms which you are mentioning indicate towards maxillary sinusitis with rhinitis. Cold will result in dry nose and frequent nose picking may be responsible for blood from the nose.
I advice you to take steam inhalation, pain killers to reduce pain and antibiotic will be helpful.

If it does not subside in a day or to i advice you to see ENT specialist.

Hope my answer will be helpful for you.

Take care.

ENT Specialist Dr. Naveen Kumar's  Response

You are having acute sinusitis, please do not delay you require a thorough examination by a good ENT specialist and managed appropriately. Azithromycin is not the antibiotic of choice especially in acute condition. Self medication is always bad, it can lead to drug induced complications.
