WELCOME TO HCM.
ORAL SUBMUCOUS FIBROSIS IS NOT AN UNCOMMON PROBLEM. IT CAN BE DEALTEASILY BUT PT NEEDS TO REMOVE THE CAUSATIVE FACTOR FIRST. IF U R IN HABIT OF SMOKING OR ALCOHOL DRINKING OR CHEWING TOBACCO OR SUPARI OR SOME OTHER SIMILAR STUFF, U NEED TO QUIT THAT HABIT FIRST. FOR OSMF INITIALLY ONLY ANTIOXIDANT CAP WITH LYCOPENE ALONG WITH ANTACID CAP R GIVEN. IF NO RESPONSE COMES WITH THIS ALONE INTRALESIONAL STEROID AND HYALURONIDASE INJECTIONS R GIVEN FOR FEW WEEKS AT WEEKLY INTERVALS. IT TAKES AROUND 3-4 MONTHS TO SHOW CONSIDERABLE IMPROVEMENT. ALONG WITH THIS ICECREAM STICKS R GIVEN TO PATIENT TO EXERCISE OPENING MOUTH SEQUENTIALLYWITH INCREASING NO OF STICKS. U CAN GO TO ANY ENT EXPERT IN MUMBAI. HE WILL GIV U NECESSARY MEDICATIONS.
