One Month Old Child, Gas Problems. Colicaid Drops Ineffective. Alternative Medicine?

Good Evening!

My son who is a month old is having increased gas trouble and I am giving him colicaid drops 3-4 times a day. But these drops are not providing any relief to him, and he keeps crying with discomfort. After breast feeding, when I try to make him burp, it takes almost an hour for the gas to be released. Could you please suggest an alternative medicine that can provide instant relief.

Awaiting your reply.

Hi,

Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic.

Gas is a common problem in infants around this age.

I advise you to continue burping after each feed.

Neopeptine drops can be given orally to make the comfortable from excessive gas problem.

Gas problem decreases as the age grows and child usually will be free gas after 3 months of age.

Hope I have answered your query.

Regards.
