On Pacemaker, Heartbeat Falling Rapidly. Cause For Bradycardia?
I1m writing from Europe... Nobody seems to find what is the problem with my father -in -law. He has a pacemaker ,and in the last year his heartbeat is falling rapidly,sometimes below 32/min. he has 50 000 extrasystole in 24 hours. he went to see a few specialists,but nobody can answer to our question. What is causing his bradycardia .

i think for bradycardia only your father in law might have underwent pace maker implantation
one common possibility is pace maker lead may displaced or battery of pace maker may complete
i dont know about your EKG report in details
regarding extrasystole do some basic investigation including serum electrolyte as it might be due to imbalance in electrolyte
