On Medication For Rheumatoid Arthritis. Stiff Hands, Pain In Knee. Any Permanent Solution?

hello doctor, my mother is suffering from rheumatoid artritis from last 10 yrs. now her age is 66 yrs. weight is 78kg. she is taking allopathic medicines as per doctors prescribed. sometimes her hand get stiffed, knee paining.

But she can walk slowly and also can climb stairs slowly. i want to know is there any permanent solution for the same.

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease.You can get remission to it by drugs and physical therapy.But you may get the attack again.So the prophylatic drugs should be continued for not getting a flare up again.So consult your rheumatologist and have a regular follow up and do physiotherapy also.
