On Depo Shot, Had Unprotected Sex, Bleeding, Spotting, Cramping. What This Might Be?

I am on the depo shot have been for a year now me and partner recently had unprotected sex I have not had a period since I have been on the shot but right after having sex I was bleeding just a little and three days after that I started spotting I have been for 8 days now and cramping like I would be if I was on my period. Could you please explain to me what this might be?

Hi, You are on depo shots since a year, you had unprotected sex, then had period and cramps. you didn't have period from the time you started depo.
It appears to be the bleeding and cramps due to infection, or anemia. probably you are not maintaining the dates of injection, to have period.
