On Birth Control Pills, Had Bleeding After Unprotected Sex, No Pregnancy Symptoms. Any Pregnancy Chances?

I've been on the birth control pill for about a year, I take the pills at the same time everyday. I had unprotected sex on the Saturday of the second week on the pack but i also had some brown color in my discharge, but not much. Sunday- about friday i had a period/ breakthrough bleeding (it happens alot *sometimes early as the sunday of the second week*) and this was the week right before my placebo pills. I'm into the second pill of the week and theres not sign of a period. I dont have nausea, feel sick, or am tired, and i dont have to pee often, also my breasts are not sore what so ever. I did take a pregnancy test today (not in the morning) and it said negative. Is there any chance that i could be pregnant?

Chances of pregnancy with OC pills is about 0.1%, as Combined oral conraceptive pills are effective drugs to prevent preg, and as you got your periods subsequently and no signs of pregnancy.Hence i advise you to not to worry.

General & Family Physician Dr. Naresh Jain's  Response
Hello Good Evening,

This are almost nil chances of your pregnancy because:

-You are on OCP by last 1 year.
-No any signs and symptoms of pregnancy.
-You had period, which totally subsided possibility of pregnancy.

A missed period is a first and important sign of pregnancy, if you have not this, then nothing possibility of pregnancy.

Your bleeding can be a side effect of OCP, which are often seen with them.

Regards,

Dr. Naresh Jain.
