On And Off Temperatures With Increased Heart Rate For A 2 Year Old

Hey my name is Sierra and my two old son Elijah is not feeling good he been like that since Saturday. He be having temperatures off and on. Now his heart seems like its beating real fast and breathing kind of hard and be dosing off. I don't know if he have asthma or not. So im trying to figure out whats wrong with my baby without taking all the kids to the ER. He have a doctor appt in the morning.

Children heartbeat at a faster pace than adults. So no worries for that. Now the air hunger is worrisome.On and off fever further confirms it as an infection. Age of 2 years with such presentation most likely to be a bronchiolitis or any other respiratory infection. All the kid needs is some antibiotic we recommend IV ceftriaxone in our setup with 6 hourly adrenaline and ventolin nebulization and thats it. Kids respond in a matter of hours. No worries. Recovery rate is 100 percent.
